Green policy

Brock Cottage has a Green Award for sustainability: please help us minimise our environmental impact
Recycling for paper, cardboard, plastic, tins, glass – bin days displayed in the cottage
Reduce the risk of fatbergs: wipe fat from pans and crockery and dispose of in the bin, not down the sink
To minimise food waste, please leave any you do not want to take with you in the fridge or on the worktop
Where possible use the eco settings on washing machine and dishwasher – instructions provided
Consider leaving heating on minimum when you are not in the cottage, please manually set to 15° when you leave, to reduce our carbon footprint

Safety

All certificates are up to date for gas and electricity, including PAT for electrical appliances
