Dating back to the 1750s, this beautiful cottage is located in one of the best surviving examples of a cobbled courtyard, formerly named Sutney Square. The rear seating area has views over neighbouring gardens and to Broughton Tower parkland beyond. Both the rear seating area and the courtyard itself catch the sun at different times of day making Brock Cottage the ideal place to relax. Shops, pubs and restaurant 200 yards.
Set over three floors, the cottage comprises:

Snug: Single sofa bed for occasional use (£20 charge).

There is a comprehensive information pack in the cottage including my contact number and things to do in the surrounding area. You can borrow the OS 1:25000 Explorer maps during your stay, covering the whole Lake District. Please make use of the library during your stay only.
The courtyard is shared with other cottages, the archway and gravel area to the rear belong to the neighbour, but cottage users have access over this to the rear concreted seating area with barbeque which is private for Brock Cottage. The ginnel access to the courtyard is narrow, and available for unloading from a small car only - please do not park under the archway. Parking available in New Street or the Square.
The key code is provided two days prior to arrival.
