The Lake District is a great all-year round destination. There is a vast amount of walking and mountaineering in Lakeland, the south-west Cumbria coast and Furness peninsula. Information in the cottage includes maps, route sheets and guide books to borrow during your stay.

Our prices are competitive and we give good deals out of season. Broughton and the south-west Lakes are unspoilt by tourism, great for a peaceful and relaxing stay

Walks from the cottage include Wilson Park in the village (200m), with lovely children’s play park, disused railway line (180m) from Broughton to Torver (6 ½ miles), and Broughton Tower parkland, all great for dogs.
